George Tamayo is ready to move the world with the power of his instrumental work. George Tamayo was born in Nevada City, CA and currently resides in Roseville, CA. Tamayo, who has been playing piano since the age of seven, knew he was born to be a performer and has dedicated nearly 20 years of his life to his music (and counting).

Despite being a late bloomer, Tamayo crafts piano pieces with the expertise of a songwriter twice his age. The beauty of his songs transcends basic emotions and sentiments. “When people listen to my music,” he explains, “they are going to feel the same exact feelings that I did when I wrote the music. I connect to the listener in a very real, emotional and powerful way without one single lyric.”

Though he mainly records singles, Tamayo did release a collection of them in two full albums titled “George Tamayo Volume 1 in 2007” and “Seasons in 2008”.

“My music is not a hobby to me,” he explains, “it is my career and I take it very seriously. My only hope for my music is to uplift, encourage and speak to people in a very emotional and powerful way.”
