Lonnie was born and raised in California's Gold Country near Yosemite National Park. This is where he began singing and writing songs at 5 years old.
Lonnie sang with local bands in the local bar scene at 10 years old by standing in the kitchen with a microphone while the band played and performed up on stage. Lonnie's songs are a mix of country, folk, rock and blues; in other words: 'Americana'.
They are hard hitting, uplifting messages of hope and friendship that were write to go out to a world full of hurting and unhappy people.
"I write songs that connect with people and where they are in life. These aren't songs cranked out in an 8X10 cubicle in L.A. or Nashville according to somebody's "formula" for success. My CD is the one you put in and listen to when the world is kicking your butt and you need to know that somebody out there cares about you. I want people to know they are not alone." Lonnie lives in Boise, Idaho and is currently recording a new CD. Look for "Bulletproof" on Lonnie's website and the usual music outlets soon.
