Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Randy Johnson (Guitarist, Recording Artist and Instructor) is well known in many circles as one with the ability to "energize" and bring musical projects "up to a whole new level".
With musical development as early as age 12 and certifications as a Professional Guitarist "with honors" from the Atlanta Institute of Music, he has played in styles of Rock to Metal, Blues to Jazz Blues, Progressive, New Age, Classical and Country.
In addition to being a Guitar Instructor at Moeller Music in West Chester, Ohio, he continues honing his own musical skills and developing his music career, receiving instruction and mentoring from Virtuoso Guitarist Tom Hess.
After years of being involved in various bands, he has made the decision to pursue a solo artist career but continues to participate in various collaborations and musical projects.
He is currently involved in recording projects locally, nationally and internationally. In addition he is currently authoring/producing an Instructional DVD on Improvisation and his first solo CD both of which are due to be released in 2008.
