Trevor Darmody, musician and teacher, is the founder & director of Flying Fingers, a professional music school in Ireland that provides structured guitar tuition for children and adults. He has over 10 years experience as a guitarist and teacher in acoustic and electric styles.

Trevor is currently writing and recording with a group of talented musicians for a compilation CD due out later this year. He will also be filming his first instructional DVD on acoustic guitar strumming during the summer.

Tom has been a great inspiration to Trevor and since crossing paths with Tom in September 2006, he has made considerable advances in his career. Says Trevor “I am very lucky to have found Tom Hess when I did. I already had a successful teaching career before working with him, but now I am beginning to form a successful music career too! Trevor is a big fan of guitar music, in particular heavy/rock metal, and acoustic fingerstyle guitar. He loves Tommy Emmanuel, The Hellecasters, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Opeth, Type O Negative, Garry Moore, David Gilmour, and tons more.
