Question: Hi Tom Hess, ...like I told you a couple weeks back, I am already having great results using your conversion strategies for attracting new guitar students that I’ve been learning in the Elite Guitar Teachers Inner Circle program. I've been picking up more new students (at a faster rate than normal) over the last few weeks. I think I should start getting my feet wet with group lessons.
So here's the big question: PRICE? How much to charge for group guitar lessons of 3 people per class? And how much to charge for group guitar lessons of 5 people per class? And how much for larger group guitar classes (8-12 students)? Thanks for everything Tom.

Tom Hess's Answer: Yes, group lessons is definitely something you need to add to what you are already doing in order to build your guitar teaching business. In addition, you also should begin to implement any of the innovative guitar teaching models you are learning in the Elite Guitar Teachers Inner Circle program.

About what to charge for group classes this was covered in detail in some of the previous Elite Guitar Teachers Inner Circle sessions, but I’ll restate a general concept which is this: When determining how much money to charge for group guitar classes you MUST charge based upon the value you build into the classes, NOT based on how big or small the class is.

It is not true that guitar students should pay more for larger group classes compared to smaller group classes “IF” you have correctly built the VALUE in each as described in the Elite Guitar Teachers Inner Circle program.

So as a general rule you can charge about 75% of your private guitar lessons rate for group guitar classes of any sizeā€¦ BUT YOU MUST BUILD THE VALUE IN THE CLASSES! We’ll be going into more detail on this again in an upcoming Elite Guitar Teachers Inner Circle session.
