Question: How can I get as good guitar vibrato technique as you? My vibrato is rubbish unfortunately.

Tom Hess's Answer: First, read this article about improving your vibrato on guitar.

In order to develop excellent vibrato, you must practice it both in isolation and together with other skills (such as guitar soloing, scales or improvising). As you get started, focus on keeping your vibrato in tune (by always reaching the desired pitch and returning to the original pitch) and work on applying different kinds of vibrato into your playing such as wide, narrow, slow or fast. Work with a metronome by bending the string up and down each beat (or twice per beat) until you start to develop solid control over the technique.

Watch this guitar licks video to see exactly how to improve this area of your playing and apply it to improve your overall musicianship.
