And here is a strange thing about these people:

Even though they act like typical doubters and haters in the music industry, they may genuinely be happy to see successfully get into the music business and start a music career.
(I’ll show you how to deal with this category of haters below).
Then, there is the second group of actual music industry haters:
These are crazy, sick people who live miserable lives.
Those music business haters DO have bad intentions and would rather see you give up or fail than build a career in music.
The worst part is: this group of music industry haters may *also* be your family, friends, co-workers or strangers on social media.
They’ll laugh at you, try to make fun of you, discourage you, and tell you that you have no chance to build a career in music.
The closer these music business haters are to you, the more it may bother you … IF you let it!
Here is the secret to dealing with this last group of music industry haters as you march on to succeed in the music business:
Often times, everything these music business haters tell you about getting into the music business is projection.
What’s projection?
It's where they say things to you and about you that they know - deep down - to be true about themselves.
They may often project their lack of ambition, laziness and bitterness over their failures in life on you.
They want you to fail in building a career in music to feel better about themselves.
Think of these music industry haters like the “crabs in a bucket” phenomenon.
When crabs are trapped in a bucket, any one of them could easily escape. But the moment any crab tries to crawl towards freedom, the others pull it down.
People (music business haters) will often do the same thing to you as you work on building your career in the music industry.
The good news is, once you realize that most of these music industry haters are simply projecting their failures onto you, it become easily to ignore them and march ahead to get into the music business.
Use the music industry haters’ hatred, doubts and skepticism to fuel your drive to build your career in music.
