Charlie Long

Originally inspired by his musician grandfather, Charlie began playing guitar at age 10.

Exposure to country and jazz at an early age laid an electric foundation to a musical vocabulary that mixed with a strong dose of all the usual suspects (Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Eddie Van Halen, Allan Holdsworth, Yngwie Malmsteen) covers broad stylistic ground.

Charlie writes and plays guitar-oriented rock music with passion and a focus on melody. Striving to make the guitar speak to the listener like a voice, he uses his technique to express emotional content but never uses technique purely for technique's sake.

Charlie is currently working on his first CD release titled "Comfort Food".
