Malik Dirim is a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter from Göttingen, Germany. He started playing guitar at the age of 15 and had his first band experiences right away.
Since then there wasn't a moment for him without participating in any kind of local band projects or live gigs. Besides several studio projects, he is currently part of the local thrash metal band Steel Ignition who released their first EP in 2011.
As a lead guitarist he is influenced by John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, Michael Romeo, Steve Vai and bands like Dream Theater, Opeth, Haken, Symphony X, and Pain of Salvation.
