Roy Prins

Roy Prins was born April 17, 1989 and took his first step in music when he was 11 years old in the form of a flugelhorn. He played in an orchestra for about six years before deciding to become a serious guitar player in a rock band. He started taking guitar lessons when he was 15 and has never stopped improving his skills.

He is currently taking electric guitar lessons online with Tom Hess to further develop his guitar playing. Additionally he takes private lessons for classical guitar.

Over the years, Roy has played and performed with a number of bands in a multitude of different styles ranging from pop, blues and funk to heavy and progressive metal. In the summer of 2012, his band Roamers Code released their first single titled: "When They Told Myself," which received airplay on national radio.

They are currently continuing to work up the ladder of the Dutch music industry.
